Richard Mangan, better known as Duffy, joined The New Hope Eagle Fire Company in 1962. He served as the Solebury Township Police Chief for 41 years and as the Fire Marshal for 15 years.

Duffy serves our community as a Firefighter and Driver Operator. He is certified in Firefighter I & II, Pump I & II, Ladder I & II, Hazmat, Vehicle Rescue, Engine Co. Ops, numerous NIMS and FEMA certifications, Swiftwater Awareness, First Aid, CPR and AED
