Matt joined The New Hope Eagle Fire Company when he moved to this area in 1999.  He is originally from The United Kingdom.  Matt is currently serving as Lieutenant 64. He is certified in Firefighter I & II, Hazmat Operations, CPR, First Aid, AED, Swiftwater Awareness, and is certified as a Sartech III with The National Association of Search & Rescue, is a Swift Water Rescue Technician and Vehicle Rescue Technician.  Matt received The Burpee Award for 2006 and  the "Firefighter of The Year" award in 2003.
