John has been a member of the New Hope Eagle since 1965.  He is certified in Firefighter I,II, Pump I, II, Ladder I, II, Fire Officers, ICS, Structural Burn among  numerous other trainings  over his  long history with this company.  John serves his community as a Firefighter, Director and Driver and as Past Chief Engineer.

 He has received "Firefighter of the Year" two times for the Eagle and once for the Bucks County Chamber of Commerce and the "Chief's Award" for most fires attended for 11 years.
