Jim serves as the assistant chief for The New Hope Eagle Fire Company.   He is certified in Firefighter I & II, Vehicle Rescue Technician, Marine Rescue, Ladder Company Operations, Swiftwater Awareness, Hazmat Operations and Officer 1.  He has been a member since 1990.

Special duties in The Fire Company include firefighting, fire prevention and fundraising.  His current assignments are Engine, Ladder, Tanker, TAC and The Marine Unit.  Always willing to help the next person, Jim has received an award for his Training ability.
