Ellen joined The New Hope Eagle Fire Company  in 2005. She is certified in Fire/Police I, Legal Aspects, Highway Incident, Hazmat Awareness, Swiftwater Awareness, First Aid, CPR and AED.  

Ellen serves as chairman of the Banquet Hall.
