Lester joined the New Hope Eagle Fire Company in 1949 and was a life member. He continued to be active in fire company meetings and activities until the time of his death on June 27, 2005. He was a dear member and mentor to all of the members of The Eagle.
He will be deeply missed by all of us.
He had taken many firefighting courses and received numerous awards through his service with the fire company. He was a "Burpee Award" recipient in 1982.
His Hobbies & Interests were repairing lawn mowers and parking meters
