1, 08, 8:19 P.M., Alarm System, Logan Square Shopping Center, Solebury
Township, Engine 46 along with Chief and Assistant 46 responded, investigation
found the alarm was set off by burnt food, Engine 46 was returned as
no fire company services were need, 9 personnel were on duty for 30
minutes consuming 4.5 hours of volunteers time.

1, 08, 11:12 A.M., Reported wires in a dwelling, Chief 46 and Engine
46 responded, a malfunctioning heat pump was the cause, Engine 46 returned
as no fire services were need. 11 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes,
consuming 5.5 hours of volunteers time.
November 5, 08, 3:48 P.M., Tower 46 and Deputy 46 were dispatched to
the City of Lambertville for a reported dwelling fire but was recalled
before arriving, 8 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming
4 hours of volunteers time.
November 5, 08, 8:49 P.M., Tower 46 was dispatched to West Amwell Twp,
N.J., for a reported dwelling fire but the Tower was recalled before
arriving on location. 10 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming
5 hours of volunteers time.
November 8, 08, 13:13 P.M., Alarm System, S. Main Street, New Hope Boro,
Engine 46 was recalled after the Chief checked the building, 7 personnel
were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 3.5 hours of volunteers time.

10, 08, 3:15 P.M., Alarm System, Tori Court, Solebury Township, Engine
46 responded and checked the dwelling and everything appeared to be
safe. 8 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 4 hours of
volunteers time.
November 10, 08, 8:32 P.M., Fire Investigation, Old York Road, New Hope
Boro, Engine 46 and assistant 46 responded and found a small fire in
the mulch along the side of the dwelling. Engine 46 crew watered down
the area and secured. 16 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming
8 hours of volunteers time.
November 11, 08, 4:20 P.M., Out Building on Ely Road, Solebury Township,
Deputy and Assistant 46 along with Engine and Tanker 46 responded, Engine
46's crew controlled the fire, the cause of the fire is under investigation,
13 personnel were on duty for 1 hour, consuming 13 hours of volunteers
time.
November 12, 08, 5:38 P.M., Smoke Investigation, Rt 202 and Rt 32, Solebury
Township, Chief and Deputy 46 along with Engine 46 checked the area,
and no fire services were need. 12 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes,
consuming 6 hours of volunteers time.
November 12,08, 8:03 P.M., Auto Accident, Rt 202 & Rt 179, Solebury
Township, Engine 46 responded to an auto. accident for a standby and
assisted with traffic, 14 personnel were on duty for 1 hour, consuming
14 hours of volunteers time.
November 18, 2008, 7:43 A.M., Alarm System, Brighton Way, Deputy 46
checked the alarm and reported problem with the alarm, Engine 46 was
recalled, and the home owner was contacting the alarm company. 8 personnel
were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 4 hours of volunteers time.
November 18, 2008, 11:03 A.M., Car Fire on Rt 179 and Kiltie Drive,
New hope Boro, Tac 46 and Engine 46, responded and controlled the fire
in the engine compartment, 14 personnel were on duty for 45 minutes,
consuming 6.5 hours of volunteers time.
November 20, 2008, 8:59 P.M., Alarm System, Greenwich Court, Solebury
Township, Alarm System was checked by Chief and Battalion 46 and found
no fire services were needed, Engine 46 was recalled. 14 personnel were
on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 7 hours of volunteers time.
November 21, 2008, 7:31 P.M., Engine 46 was dispatched to a building
fire in Hopewell, New Jersey, 13 personnel were on duty for 1 hour,
consuming 13 hours of volunteers time.
November 21, 2008, 11:26 P.M., Alarm System, Engine 46 was recalled
before arriving, as no fire company services were needed, 11 personnel
were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 5.5 hours of volunteers time.
November 22, 2008, 8:22 P.M., Reported smell of gas on Ferry Street,
New Hope Boro, the area was checked by Deputy and Assistant 46 and no
fire services were needed, Engine 46 was returned, 13 personnel were
on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 6.5 hours of volunteers time.
November 23, 2008, 7:05 P.M., Tower 46 was dispatched to the City of
Lambertville for a building fire on Cherry Lane, Tower 46 was returned
before arriving, 16 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming
8 hours of volunteers time.
November 24, 2008, 1:24 P.M., Engine 46 was dispatched for an alarm
system, Bridge Street, New Hope Boro, engine 46 was returned after Deputy
46 found the alarm was set off by burnt pop corn, and no need for fire
services, 10 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 5 hours
of volunteers time.
November 25, 2008, 6:15 A.M., Alarm System, N. Main Street, New Hope
Boro, Engine 46 was held at the station, as no fire services were needed,
5 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 4.5 hours of volunteers
time.
November 25, 2008, 7:47 P.M., Tower 46 was dispatched, to the City of
Lambertville for a building fire but was returned before arriving on
location. 14 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes, consuming 7 hours
of volunteers time.
November 26, 2008, 2:40 P.M., Engine 46 was dispatched to cover Midway
Fire Company while they were on a call in there area., 11 personnel
were on duty for 1 hour, consuming 11 hours of volunteers time.
November 26, 2008, 5:36 P.M., Engine 46 was dispatched to an alarm system,
Norwalk Way, Solebury Township, when Chief 46 arrived he found smoke
coming from the home, the call was upgrade to a dwelling fire bring
Tower 46, Tanker 46 and a Engine from Lambertville Fire Dept. The fire
was contained to the bath room on the first floor, but the rest of the
dwelling had heavy smoke damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
17 personnel were on duty for 1.5 hours, consuming 26.5 hours of volunteers
time.
November 28, 2008, 1:30 P.M., Tac 46 and Tanker 46 responded to a brush
fire on Sugan Road near Meetinghouse Road, Tanker 46 was returned, 12
personnel were on duty for 1 hour, consuming 12 hours of volunteers
time.
November 29, 2008, 9:06 P.M., Alarm System, S. Main Street, New Hope
Boro, Battalion 46 checked the building and found no fire services were
needed, Engine 46 was recalled, 11 personnel were on duty for 30 minutes,
consuming 5.5 hours of volunteers time.

HOLIDAY SEASON SAFETY TIP
1. Keep all holiday decorations 3 feet from any heat source.
2. Check all your holiday decorations for bad wiring.
3. Do not overload extension cords or outlets with holiday lights.
4. Before leaving a room or going out or retiring for the evening, check
all candles to make sure they are out.
5. If using a live tree, before putting it up cut two or three inchs
off the bottom, and trim up the sides also and then place your tree
in a tree holder which holds water and check to be sure the tree has
water daily, which will help keep the tree from drying out.
6. MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL; CHECK YOUR SMOKE DETECTOR TO BE SURE IT'S
WORKING, IF NOT GIVE YOUR FAMILY A SAFE HOLIDAY SEASON AND REPLACE IT,
IT MAY SAVE LIVES.
