PUBLIC NOTICE
During the past year the Eagle Fire Company has been dispatched to an increasing number of fire alarms calls. Not only has the number of alarms calls increased but the company finds they are being dispatched to the same location several times a week. This is due to lack of maintenance performed on a yearly basis.

These false alarms put an additional burden on the Company with rising fuel costs and equipment maintenance. This is not to mention the volunteers that leave their place of employment to man the equipment. The standard turn around time for each of these alarms is an average of 45 minutes. ( Each time the engine goes out it must have 4 fire personnel on it, and it cost $250.00 per engine, per call, this does not cover the cost of the personnel).

With this in mind, the Eagle Fire Company asks that you maintain your alarm systems by having routine maintenance performed through a scheduled appointment with your alarm provider.
