Safety
Tip:
We should all remember that winter is just around the corner and now
is a good time to start thinking about getting your heater checked along
with you chimney to be sure the draft is working properly so carbons
do not back up into your home. Carbons have no odor but could sicken
family members, or worse, it can be a killer.
Another important thing would be to have you fireplace or wood stove
checked and your chimney inspected and cleaned. Chimneys build up creosote
and can block your chimney which can back up smoke into your home and
create a fire which could damage your home.
We at the Eagle Fire Company know full well it's hot out now, but now
is the time to start thinking winter safety.
